HOW WE WORK

In disaster affected communities, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church to implement a locally led disaster recovery program utilising the resources of Samaritan’s Purse such as:
• a Site Management Team;
• tools, equipment and materials;
To find out how your church can partner with Samaritan’s Purse Disaster Relief please contact us.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Train to be part of a Site Management Team (SMT)

Samaritan’s Purse Disaster Relief is powered by men and women who give their time to help families and individuals impacted by disaster. A Site Management Team is a group of trained men and women who deploy to a disaster-affected area to assist a local community in a disaster affected area.

The role of the SMT is to:
• assist in implementing an efficient, effective, locally led disaster relief program;
• help coordinate local volunteers in providing practical assistance utilising the resources of Samaritan’s Purse.
